LET'S GO FISHING!!
    Wentzville UMC will hold its 4th Annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 17, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The even is open for kits ages 5 to 12 and will be held at the church pond. Please bring your fishing pole. fishing poles will be available along with tackle for those needing them.

PAMPER & CARE FOR YOURSELF FOR FREE!
     A Sister-to-Sister Pamper & Care for Yourself Event for women of all ages will be held in conjunction with National Women’s Health Week on Saturday, May 17, from 11a.m. to – 2 p.m. at Christ Community UMC, 8841 Old Lucas & Hunt Road in Jennings.  Rev. Michelle M. MCGHEE, Pastor.
     This is a free event and includes a mammogram van and information on: Resume Writing & Dressing for Success; Diabetes; Depression; Nutrition; HIV; Blood Pressure Screening; Tips on Skin & Hair Care.
     There will be Door Prizes, Refreshments and Giveaways.
     Hear from women who have survived breast cancer, the loss of a child, bankruptcy, and other life-changing experiences.

PERFORMING ON THE LARGEST RANGE OF HANDBELLS IN THE WORLD
The Westminster Concert Bell Choir from Westminster Choir College of Rider University will perform on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Webster Hills United Methodist Church in Webster Groves, Missouri.

Conducted by Kathleen Ebling-Thorne, the concert program will feature some of the works for which the Choir is known. for its virtuosity, the 14-member Westminster Concert Bell Choir uses the largest range of handbells in the world – 8 octaves. Many of the bells are made of bronze and range in weight from four ounces to 11 pounds; the Choir also uses the large “Basso Profundo” aluminum-cast bells that are a new phenomenon in handbell ringing. The Choir supplements their handbell set with a six-octave set of Malmark Choirchime® instruments – the widest range in existence.

PRAISE FESTIVAL
    First UMC Washington will host a contemporary Christian Cooncert on Saturday, May 31, from 2 p.m. until dark. Groups performing will include First Church's First Light, as well as Gift by Grace, Revelation, and Mercy's Child.

UNITED METHODIST FAMILY DAY AT THE BALLPARK

KINGDOM HOUSE GOLF TOURNAMENT & DINNER AUCTION

Fine dining and the opportunity to play where the pros play await you! The Annual Kingdom House Golf Tournament and Dinner Auction takes place Monday, June 16th, 2008 at Forest Hills Country Club. Anyone who enjoys fine dining and auction bidding is encouraged to bring friends and family for the evening dinner auction. There's something for everyone among our auction items: condominium getaways, Cardinals tickets, hunting packages, and group golf parties.

    Christ Community UMC invites everyone to share in their FIRST Home Coming Celebration, November 7 to 9, 2008, at 8841 Old Lucas & Hunt Road in Jennings. Especially invited are members of the former Bowman and Mt. Auburn-Wesley UMCs and Christ Community UMC.
    The weekend begins with a catered dinner on November 7, Family Fun Day with a "petting zoo," games, food and fun activities on November 8, and closes on Sunday, November 9, with a special worship cervice and musical celebration.
