Manchester United Methodist Church, a large progressive congregation in suburban St. Louis, Mo., is seeking a dynamic, professional individual to serve as its Director of Communications. The Director of Communications is responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications, including the development and execution of a comprehensive communications plan, composing and submitting all press releases, and coordinating and insuring quality and timely execution of all digital communications. The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Communications or Journalism, two years of related experience, demonstrate effective written and oral communications skills, and have experience with project management; including scheduling, planning, prioritizing, and executing projects with firm deadlines. Expertise with computer applications is essential. This is a full-time position, with benefits.
